Optional EquipmentTailor your Norwood LumberMate to match your unique demands – now, and as your milling operation grows. 4-Foot Bed ExtensionStandard, the LumberMate mills boards and beams 13-feet long (3.9m). Add a 4-foot bed extension (1.2m) and mill logs 17-feet long, add two and cut 21-footers, add seven and mill logs 41-feet long! Each 4-foot bed extension bolts permanently to the end of the bed. Additional optional log rest/log-dog assemblies sold separately. Note: Maximum of two 4-foot extensions permitted in combination with the trailer package. ( Part No. 41130)  | Toe Board Package Compensate for log taper with a set of toe boards. Manually-operated hydraulic bottle-jacks lift even the largest logs. The toe-boards also feature rollers to help reposition the log lengthwise on the bed. The quick-connect/quick-disconnect design makes moving the toe-boards anywhere along the mill fast and easy. Two units per set.(Part No. 41285) | | Lap-Siding & Shingle-Making Package Make shiplap siding and cedar-shake shingles quickly and easily. With this unique jig, cut lap-siding from 7” – 12” wide, with taper-widths down to a feather-edge. Reconfigure the jigs, and make cedar-shake shingles 7” – 12” wide and up to 20” long – Each pass makes two shakes. Two jigs per set. Tip: To double production, add an extra set.(Part No. 41270) | | Log Loader & Log-Rotating Package Load large logs onto your LumberMate with ease and hold them in place for quick-dogging. Simply pass the cable over and then under the centre of the log, connect to the frame and operate the winch – The log rolls up the ramps and onto the bed. Also, makes rotating (rolling) the log while on the bed a snap to speed up squaring cants. Package includes two ramps complete with repositioning rollers, winch, mast/boom & receiver and log-rolling hook. (Part No. 41400) |  | Trailer Package Tow your Norwood LumberMate fully-assembled right to your milling site behind your ATV or on the highways* behind your truck or car. Quick-connect/quick-disconnect design and retractable draw-bar allow you to lower the whole mill right down to the ground for safer & easier log-loading and milling. Package includes independent shock-absorbing torsion axles, 5-bolt full-size wheels, light bar and highway running lights, drawbar assembly, wiring harness, safety chains and 1⅞” coupler. Note: Maximum of two 4-foot extensions permitted in combination with the trailer package. (Part No. 41150) | | Leveling Feet A must for frequent site set-ups. Makes leveling the bed on the ground much easier and faster. Each set includes 8 leveling feet (sufficient for the standard LumberMate). Use your standard LumberMate log dogs to clamp your log in the round, and the cam-dogs to clamp squared cants and boards. Designed with a blunt-nose to reduce marring of your lumber. Clamp as low as ¾” above bunk height. Two units per set.(Part No. CD01) |  | Detachable 2-Foot Bed Extension Quick-connect/quick-disconnect onto the end of your bed. Cut logs 15-feet (4.5m) long with one detachable 2-foot (0.6m) extension or 17-feet (5.1m) with two units. Ideal for squeezing out extra milling capacity without permanently making your mill longer, especially when trailering. (Part No. 41140) |  | 1½” Blade System The Norwood LumberMate comes standard with 1¼” blade guide rollers to accommodate Norwood’s 1¼” blades. While 1¼” blades are the ideal all-purpose choice, suitable for milling both hard and softwood logs, you may want to upgrade your mill to the 1½” blade guide system and use 1½” blades if you specialize in milling large hardwoods. System includes two 1½” blade-guide rollers each equipped with two sealed bearings. Note: Available only for 20hp and 23hp-equipped LumberMates. (Part No. 41220) |  | Lumber Scale (9/4”, 6/4”, 5/4” & 9/8”) The Norwood LumberMate comes standard with a 2”, 1” & 3/4” depth-of-cut scale with the kerf already calculated in. Made from the same rugged material used for transport-truck covers, Norwood’s carriage covers are rip-resistant, rot-resistant, UV-resistant and pliable even at freezing temperatures. Tailored to fit snuggly over the whole carriage and equipped with an adjustable strap and draw-cords, we’ve designed the LumberMate carriage cover to stay put, even at highway-speeds.(Part No. 41290) | | Stainless Steel Bunk Covers Protect your valuable hardwood lumber from blue and black staining. Protect your sawmill investment from scratches too. Each cover is 18” (45cm) long. Four 1/8” holes required in each cross-bunk for installation. Five units per set.(Part No. LM2K-SSBCS) |  | Vertical Log Posts Vertical log post system bolts directly to the LM2000’s cross-bunks and offer perfect squaring of cants. When used alone, vertical log posts are ideal for squaring cants and small-diameter logs. When used with the standard log posts, they provide additional support when milling large-diameter logs. Mount units to any cross-bunk station to suit your specific milling requirements. Set includes two 18” posts, brackets and hardware.
